There has to be an awful video to go with the two-muffin-one-egg version.

But I did not say that, OK?

We've got the two-muffin-one-egg cup version it's pretty handy. We hardly use it anymore other than as just a toaster but the gf loved to make bacon & egg breakfast sandwiches with it.

A real person who has one! It's reliable then?

Damn, I may have to put that on my birthday list.

:laughs: Yes I am a real human being, I've played Dead Island with Weasel so in theory he can vouch that I'm probably not a bot ;) But yeah it works well and we never had a single problem with it and it makes tasty things.

Like Robz said its awesome and reliable. We've had it, 3 or 4 years now. Toasts well, which is what we primarily use it for nowadays, but it does a great job making egg sandwiches. Toss a bagel or toast in the toaster, scramble an egg in the pan, add the water and go.

If you scramble the eggs its awesome, it makes this awesome huge fluffy egg omelet thing. So tasty.

Can you get it to poach the egg enough so the white cooks but the yolk stays runny?

It comes with a measuring cup that you use, the amount of water you add determines how cooked the egg is. So you can do runny, though you'd probably need to do a couple tests to get it to where the whites were completely cooked but the yolk was still liquid, I would say that would probably be the medium measurement.

Yes. In both in-shell and out-of-shell shape, you can cook your white and leave your yolk runny. I used mine at least twice a day for years, until I found myself allergic to wheat and got rid of it.

Sad. I love you, english muffin!

Do you have to cook the bacon in the normal way?

You do. Or buy the pre-cooked "re-heat only" bacon.

Yup, you can do ham or sausage pretty easily but for the crisp bacon we used the pre-cooked bacon.

We had one of those--not specifically that one from that company, but we had a toaster that was also supposed to cook eggs.

We could never get the egg thingie to work.

I think we got rid of it after our apartment caught fire.

I think we got rid of it after our apartment caught fire.

Was this because of the toaster, or unrelated?

I knew I'd get that question as soon as I posted--it was unrelated. The furnace was faulty and caught the roof on fire. Of course, the manager tried to blame us.
