I've come to a realisation.

And the realisation is this: Fox News is just an attempt by Americans to copy a successful British thing - in this case, batshit tabloid journalism. And, like The Office and unlike, uh, all the other ones I can think of offhand but I'm sure there are some, the American version is waaaaaaay more successful than the original.

In tone and honesty it does not appear significantly different from The Mail or The Mirror or The Sun.

Ahhh now here's the problem. The Torygraph has roughly the same content and bias as the Daily Fail, but generally presents itself as slightly broadsheetish - it's the paper for RESPECTABLE bigots.
