Part of me thinks there needs to be a filtering mechanism to cull the brilliant out of 4chan while leaving the muck behind.

Then I remember that it's called reddit.

I used to read 4chan hoping I would see these funny posts now and then. Then I figured out that the only good posts on 4chan are the ones that get screencapped and meme'd around the internet anyway.
