Teratogenic Effects Of Pure Evil in Ursus Teddius Domesticus.

EDIT: Lots of people hitting that image! For the people who have linked this post as the "original source" - it isn't. This one is hosted on my account because I rehosted it to save other people the bandwidth cost. I didn't make it, [livejournal.com profile] caprine did. I'm the original posting with this specific photobucket URL, not the image creator. I did not create this. I just love it.

[livejournal.com profile] caprine strikes again! XD

That would be her presentation for the Mad Scientist themed Conjecture a few years back.

LOL "pure evil from the ruins of an exploded toaster in the south of england." sound like a referance to Time Bandits.

It's definitely a Time Bandits reference: see the bit that says "DON'T TOUCH IT IT'S EVIL".

Thank you for spreading the twisted memes of my diseased imagination. Onward in the name of mad science!

Hey! I found it without a source - got a link to an explanation or an original posting? I'll happily add one.

It originally went up in my LJ scrapbook and a flocked LJ post. Since my name and academic affiliation are in the photo, I'm not too worried about attribution. You might add, though, that it won the Mad Science Fair at Conjecture 2010 (a San Diego science fiction convention). Thank you!

Yep, I'm guessing he got it from me, and yes, the original I'd found was also unsourced. Thanks, it's great!

For the record, about 20,000 people viewed that image on the 27th, from my host alone. That doesn't count anyone who saw it somewhere else, or anyone who liked it enough to rehost it like I did.

(I blame twitter. Charlie Stross linked it and John Scalzi mentioned it.)
