Wisconsin repeals law requiring equal pay for men and women, because "money is more important for men", which they know because Ann Coulter said so.
I'm not making that up. That's not a hyperbolic quote.

Date: 2012-04-09 05:14 pm (UTC)Walker is the point man in the return-the-US-to-Pleasantville campaign. While he's shocking and dismaying the nation, other states -like Arizona- are following the lead, seemingly in competition w' each other to see how many batshiat crazy bills they can pass before the citizenry screams "ENOUGH! Back to the darkness from whence you came!"
They may be thinking that the Bush Junta got away with scads of heinous policy making, almost none of which has been repealled to date, and using the same rationale for their own activities. Hell, they believe God wants them to return the nation to some imagined past state of glory (for the Great White Male, at least). For them, this modus is clearly working.
These whackjobs don't just need to be stopped; they need to watch all their craziness repealled and thrown onto the steaming heap of historical offenses gone wrong. If something isn't done, they win.
That's unacceptable.
