It doesn't even have to be a sixty year-old project. The second photo isn't an unusual composition; I've seen stuff like that before. By the third photo he's obviously taking advantage of the situation, and the fourth photo is just icing on the cake.

And yeah, it's obviously the same guy in the last two pictures. By extension, the first two photos are of him also.
