I found the missions fun, if the same thing you do for much of Saints Row 3, with occasionally funny dialogue. It lampshades the shooting gallery aspect (I'm not sure if I'd stretch to "intentionally", but I wouldn't be surprised).
The Professor Genki DLC isn't really worth it (in my opinion, none of the SR3 DLC is).
