Big list of great DOS games. (giant image)

Seriously. Some of the best games ever are on this giant image.

I forgot Abuse was that long ago.

I think you mentioned it recently, but there's a Carmageddon remake in the works.

The graphics in Another World were recently re-done, making it even better looking than before.

I'd love to see another Descent and/or Magic Carpet game. Pretty much any Bullfrog game, really.

I've always felt that Armadillo Run was a spiritual successor to TIM.

OpenTTD is an updated version of Transportation Tycoon.

I bought into the Carmageddon remake. GOG's version of the original Carmageddon is included as a free reward!

Abuse is available as freeware if you want to endulge your nostalgia: http://abuse.zoy.org/

-- Steve found this out in his Bungie days, as Bungie was the publisher for the MacOS version. (Yes, once upon a time there were Mac game developers...)

PS: That game list is awesome, and I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed at how many of those I played and enjoyed.

Not only was Bungie a Mag game developer (and sometime publisher), they were a non-Halo game developer! They revolutionized FPSes (with storytelling to rival System Shock and invention of a buttload of multiplayer modes still used today) and RTSes (emphasizing tactics over micromanagement)... and hey, I liked Oni. But Halo makes money, so who am I to complain?
