...I was about to type a comment saying "That would only happen in Britain. In America we taze our disabled people!" Now I'm just depressed that real-life has once again trumped my cynicism. That poor woman. What a nightmare.
Friend of mine's dad got thrown in the drunk tank to sober up overnight. He was diabetic and was having the blood sugar problem where you end up disoriented and look drunk. Apparently no one believed him and he ended up in a coma and died shortly after.
