The Booth At The End.

There is a man sitting in a booth in a diner. You come to him, you tell him what you want, and he checks his book and reads out what you need to do to get it.

If you do what he says, you get what you want - whether he tells you to help 5 people cross the street, or to murder a stranger, all you have to do is do what the book tells you, and you WILL get what you want.

Oh, and keep him updated on your progress. That's part of the deal.

(Did I mention that the camera never, ever leaves the booth? Because it doesn't. Everything is told in the interviews, in the booth.)

This is hands down some of the best TV in years.

I am an enormous fan of The Booth At The End. I burned through season 1 in a couple days, and thought it was fantastic.

Season 2 I haven't gotten hooked by quite as strongly, but I'm hopeful that it maintains the stripped-down really spare style & set/setting, so that it's all about the dialog in the booth, and nothing else.

Sounds like the cheapest show in the world to make, too.

I don't know, I think Xander Berkeley might be expensive.

(But yes.)

You're the second person to recommend it. Any idea where I can track it down?

It's apparently available on Hulu. There are also torrents.

This post comes at a good time. Joanne and I are currently in "TV show dead zone". The Walking Dead, Dexter, Supernatural...don't premiere until the end of the month earliest.

I was not aware there was a season two. This makes me very happy. :)
