You are a bad man. I had been resisting the temptation of the pre-purchase on this, figuring on picking it up later in the year when it goes on sale.

I failed my willpower check.

I'll tell the wife it was your fault when she catches me playing it later...

I really try not to get hyped up for things - I know that hype just leads to disappointment. But yes, my Steam copy of the game is pre-loaded, and it's going to be difficult to force myself to go to the gym and pack some moving boxes before starting to play.

Judging by the skill trees alone, the new siren's cataclysm stuff looks like fun. What are you planning to start with?

Zero.

Mordecai was always my favourite, Zero looks like fun. So I'm starting with Zero.

I've deliberately been avoiding spoilers.

I got my steam pre-load taken care of Friday night. My launch plan is to go to bed at a reasonable time. Play for 5-10 before I got to work. and then on my lunch break blast the crap out of a bunch of skags and anything else I see and find out what shiny guns fall out.

Black Mesa seemed to pick their timing well, I think I'll be finished with that tonight and not have to leave it hanging tomorrow.

Unlocks at midnight. Have to be at work at 8:30.

Plenty of time.

Courtesy of my US VPN service I played this last night.

Borderlands 2 is the Assassins Creed 2 of sequels. They've taken basically everything that anyone wanted to bitch about for BL1 and fixed it in BL2.

Its pretty win.
