Here's the video of it being made (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CDkJuo_LYs), which is extra neat because they explain how to make it - and they drop the objects in after the liquid column assembled, although you don't see them all being dropped in.

Of course I had to look it up. The specific gravity of honey is about 1.4. Which means there are no rocks less dense. On the other hand, the surface tension of honey is really high...
