They are doing more and more of these experimental studies and I think it's great. This will be the next big treatment for cancer. My mom was accepted into one of these studies for breast cancer at the Roger Williams Cancer Center in Rhode Island, but she passed away prior to injection with the modified T-cells, because the cells were replicating more slowly that others and metastases in her liver, lungs, and brain were too much for her body to continue with. I actually think she may have been overradiated during the last gamma-knife procedure she had, but there is no way to prove that now. Nor am I really interested in pursuing that avenue of thinking. It was a craptastic time all the way around, but the study was really cool and we were hopeful about it.
