This makes me think back to second edition Shadowrun. The only way you could damage spirits without being magically active was to attack them with your "force of will", as represented by the Charisma attribute.

Seems simple enough? Just add gamers. Kittens are cute, and thus must have a high Charisma. Therefore, the ultimate spirit-killing gun...

It's originally from here, and don't ask how long it took me to find it. *facepalm* I swear, TinEye seems to have gone downhill lately...

As a fellow TinEye user, I don't need to ask, having tried and failed myself before posting here. Thanks for going the extra mile (or six).

It is, for the record, the very first hit on Google Image Search if you paste in the URL and "search by image"

GIS has obsoleted TinEye pretty much entirely for me.

Which speaks volumes about how much GIS has improved and/or TinEye has declined since my initial exposure to each.

The first hit wasn't the original URL when I did it this morning - actually, it still isn't, so possibly that's a factor of scripting I'm not allowing, or something?

What the first hit is is a repost of the image, but the reposter didn't rename the file, and I recognized the naming convention as the one deviantArt uses, so I went to see if there was an artist's page there that matched.

Call it three; one for trying TinEye, one for trying GIS, and one for digging up the file name of the image and taking it to DA to see if I could find a matching artist page. :D No trouble. (And oooh, prints!)

Long time back at a Dragon*Con I chatted with a guy who had a home-made Nerf gun that fired plushie-toy penguins. It was a single-shot muzzle-loader but he had ambitions to go belt-fed in the next iteration of the design.

Penguins? "Most ballistic shape out-of-the-toybox" according to him.

(My husband is the co-author of At Close Quarters from British Isles Traveller Support, which [in]famously features stats for using penguins as thrown weapons.)

That first cat doesn't look too happy about being a projectile, considering the trail of poop he's leaving.

The second cat.... is stoned.
