O c'mon, Leggy lass isn't power metal. He's nowhere near fabulous enough.

Yeah, I would've pinned him as "glam".

My thoughts exactly, although I was thinking "hair" as a term.

(Not that this is a complaint/insult, I've always enjoyed hair metal. And elves.)

I've always considered "hair" and "glam" fairly interchangeable, but yes, in this case "hair" is actually the right answer. Mea culpa.

Also! Totally relevant showoff video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpZ18recO9A)!
And after watching that again, I can see why Leggy gets the "power" tag - all that flashy technically skillful bullshit? Totally an elf thing.

Whoever put this together likely has no idea that Sir Christopher Lee is a metalhead.

I'm actually totally unfamiliar with nu metal. Is making Smegol the poster-child for nu metal a punchline?

AH, that's Limp Bizkit and Slipknot. I'm... still thinking that's a punchline.

This is an actual thing? Because I'm not seeing how it would work.

It's an actual thing. Finntroll and Korpiklaani do polka-metal, and it's hilarious.

Then I suppose there's always Turisas, at least whenever they're not busy taking the mickey out of old German disco pop songs.
