Dog is home and as healthy as can be expected and safe. Recovery prospects look excellent. In celebration, I'm playing Dishonored like it's a shooter. *Nobody* is surviving meeting Corvo, is what I'm saying.

Hooray! Best wishes for her recovery. I am still hoping that one day you'll find a local supplier of macropod macrobits and we'll see Dogmonster vs. Roo-Femur...

Fingers crossed for the dog.

Dishonored looked tempting, but I wasn't sure about it. How much fun is it?

Dishonored is basically a less stylised Assassin's Creed - fewer mechanics specifically devoted to the hiding stuff, more like Thief.

It's pretty fun for the price I paid.

I think Dishonored is an impressive piece of work, but it doesn't interact well with my OCD traits. It tracks how much you're noticed and how many people you kill, and I feel compelled to minimize both while playing at highest difficulty. Arguably it's good that the difficulty level scales beyond my comfort zone and I should just move that slider down, but I went back to Fallout 3 to play the DLC instead.
