I just read his last blog entry, which went up less than 45 hours ago (assuming location-sensitive timestamps). He's talking about starting a Kickstarter in the next couple of weeks to bring back "At the Movies", revising Rogerebert.com (it was going to launch on the 9th), the possibility of a fourth Great Movies book...
I think I'm going to step away from the internet for a bit.
My friend is a movie reviewer for a local paper. Less than 24 hours prior to Ebert's death, he put up a get-well-soon article for Ebert (who he worshipped), and talked a bit about all his various plans for the future. Then he had to put up a followup about Ebert's death and a bio of the man's incredible life. It's been a rough day for my friend.
