The fire's out now (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-mid-wales-22318791), and was confined to the roof of one building. There appears to be no serious damage. But, oh, how my heart dropped when I first saw the news; libraries are a precious resource.
A friend was within sight of the smoke, was being rather upset by the sight, and annoyed that no-one else there appeared to care/understand why it was upsetting.
