I think it gives Marvel more credit than it deserves - but other than that certainly true

I dunno, I think Marvel's fairly accurately portrayed there: Fails regularly but usually listens when told it was stupid, usually tries to avoid repeating stupid behaviour even if it doesn't think the behaviour was stupid.
