Every judge's rule can be appealed, until it hits your "Supreme" court. Except, this already passed a ballot measure, and will likely be de jure regardless of appeals for at least some time while it passes the state court on the strength of "ballot measure and PUNT", and your current "Supreme" court is led by a man terrified of being found to be on the wrong side of history.
I wonder which will be the last US state to legalise gay marriage? Surely, once it comes down to the last handful, states will scramble to be the second-last (which nobody will remember), rather than the last (with all the infamy that comes with being so decisively on the wrong side of History)?
The only question is whether the Mormons have a "revelation" showing them that "the time is now right" to support homosexuals before it's enforced by law.

And the LDS church is *notorious* for editing scripture via "ongoing revelation" to update their positions in the face of "we might lose money".
So the question is, will the Mormons notice the trend and change God's Divine Revealed Plan to profit personally BEFORE the feds enforce modern life on the hillbillies, or will they hold out to the end on their GOD HATES FAGS platform until the adults are done with the rednecks and come for their victims.
