Client errors?

My livejournal client of choice, semagic (ljwin32_sema) it reporting 404 errors when it tries to log me in to LJ via the client API. Meanwhile, the site is obviously up and working. Is anyone else having this problem?

LJ was shitting itself early this morning, I assume there's something on the backend that's still shat.

The website *sucks* for authoring posts. Of course I use a client.

First: It's slow. Loading the page is very slow, waiting for it to react is very slow. It annoys me.

Second: It lacks keyboard shortcuts. I can no longer whack ctrl-u to make "highlighted thing (or clipboard) is lj-name" or ctrl-m for "insert link/image from clipboard" or even things like ctrl-i for "italicise that shit".

Gotcha. I'm just so used to typing out the HTML for those things that learning a keyboard shortcut would end up taking more time.

Yup, had that happen a couple of times. But I just minimized it and 5-10 minutes later it had resolved whatever was the trouble and logged in, so not that big a problem. I was more worried about Gmail notifications glitching a couple of times but that too was only for a few minutes fortunately.

It was some odd issue on the server side wherein /interface/flat wasn't accessible by Semagic, near as I can tell. I saw a bunch of open Support requests, added one of my own solely so that I would know when it was resolved (and possibly an explanation), and it was resolved within a day or so.
