YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY, TEMPERATURE!!
(Taps the sun) Is this thing on? I mean it's frigging bright as heaven here and yet...
ugh it's 28.
We expect snow for this bullshit. That's really our biggest gripe.

It was 42 here yesterday. *cough* Celcius. It is time for us all to move to the underground cities, and abandon this ruined surface ecology.

What underground city? It's Australia, you have no basements. How hot does it have to get before you build basements?

Little wonder it's hot there -- the shale is on fire!

As climate change has been determined not to exist as per various conservative, libertarian, and some liberal entities, everyone should stop freaking out. This is perfectly normal weather. Anyone disagreeing is a global warming alarmist.

Meanwhile, in Finland...

Please send all excess snow our way. We do not have enough of it. No, seriously.

Seconded. It was early January and when I looked outside it was raining.

Right now in my neck of woods, we have 7 cm/3 inches of snow.

This is not enough. This is an ecological catastrophy, as it keeps happening year after year. Unless we get a whole load of snow fast, and it stays 'till mid-April, ground water and lake water levels are going to be record low again in spring and summer. :(

Heh. Yeah, every time I see one of those maps (there's another one with liberal use of the "f" word on Facebook), I keep thinking "and you need to add a section north in Canada that says "STFU you n00bs."

Washington State is also lacking snowcap in the mountains. At sea level things are more or less normal: cloudy, drizzly, low 40s.

No. Hell, no.

We here in Austria would like our usual contingent, too. You can't have it all, northerners!

Boo! Okay, we'll split some for ya then.

But the cuddly Saimaa seals need snowbanks for making dens! Mere seven centimeters of snow won't do!

I want lots, even if I have to shovel it, and (actually even more important) 2 weeks of constantly-below-freezing, otherwise too many mosuitoes survive and next summer's gonna be unbearable.

(Plus, I'd like to see 2m+ snowdrifts again, like in my youth - higher than the family car then (a 2CV AK400))
