I think the questions at issue in the poll are not so much about facts as actions; teachings on specific moral applications are seldom declared dogmas per se. The dogmas which underlie some of those teachings are not the subject matter of the poll, but would give interesting results for comparison.
It would be clearer to say "Roman Catholic dogma correlates with Evangelical dogma more closely than with beliefs of mainstream catholics."
As soon as you put 'belief' next to 'dogma' there's a misleading implication there-- that implication being that Evangelicals subscribe to Catholic teachings as a body, rather than aligning on many individual issues.
