High School Principal cancels entire reading program in an attempt to prevent students from reading Little Brother, on the grounds that the book suggests that opposing petty and obnoxious authoritarianism is a good thing.

I guessed correctly, so the "batshit crazy" = FL and "religious nuttery" = OH is still holding strong. That said, any article that refers to anything written by Doctorow as fantastic is suspect and probably not worth reading.

I guessed wrong; Ohio struck me as being more about objecting to breaking with conformity than Florida. Oh well!
