Was just discussing this very issue this morning with car pool co-worker. There are good laws already in place to protect the rest of us from the gun nuts, they just aren't enforced. It's interesting to live in a country in which the majority of citizens think reasonable gun control is just that, and the vast majority of both conservatives AND liberals don't think corporations are people. You'd think if this really was a democracy and not some kind of jerry-rigged kleptocracy these views would get more traction in our federal government.

Seems like our insanity has been bleeding North, though that doesn't account for the jackasses over the pond.
