What is this "dining table" thing of which is spoken? Pizza is correctly eaten on the sofa in front of the TV (or other entertainment device), it's not a dinner that requires place settings.
Does a pub count? I know several pubs that serve food that let you sit where you like, including on the sofa. And, it turns out Evil Landlord of Evilness has gone bust and the two I've been avoiding for years have changed hands so I can go back in them again.
(and to me, a pizza has a sauce, and if it's not got at least tomato & oregano in the sauce it's not Proper Pizza Sauce, although basil can substitute if necessary—then, I add a fair amount of garlic to my sauce as well.)
