Now, now, nobody in the article says they're celebrating "freedom," it says they're celebrating
nationalism
patriotism.
Actually, my favorite bit has more to do with the cynical use of
nationalism
patriotism as a marketing ploy:
"The marketing initiative suggests using Fort Bragg units in ceremonies and events around the county."
Right, 'cause the Army doesn't have anything more important to do than act as props to boost local tourism. Gah.

I liked the "fake tickets to foerign cars!" bit.
Because, you know, a Toyota built in Kentucky is SO much worse than a GM built in Mexico!
