So, uh, why is the Russian-only LJ Times feature, that I have MOST DEFINITELY not opted into and do not in any way want, appearing on the bottom of my LJ pages?

EDIT: To kill it yourself, add the rule "###ljtime" to Adblock.

Seems to have vanished again for me sometime in the last hour.

It's stopped bouncing off my adblock rule, at least.

I think I'll leave the rule there, though, just in case anyone ever thinks that's a good idea again.

Sometimes, when I haven't logged in yet, LJ just arbitrarily decides I speak Russian. I've learned to ignore it.

I was logged in.

But adblock has fixed the problem and it appears that Livejournal fixed the problem after that since Adblock is no longer recording that it has fixed the problem after the initial ~20 times.

Any ideas about the banner I was getting at the bottom of the page for Stan Lee's LJ? It showed up at the bottom of every page for a while, without any obvious way to close it.

I was all like "Stan Lee has a livejournal?" and apparently YES HE DOES.

But: I'm not seeing a banner at the bottom of his page. If you were seeing one before: Was it labelled "LJ Times" and was the content entirely in cyrillic? If so: The adblock rule I said before will remove it . If not: Can you see it now? Screenshot it?

It only appeared day before yesterday, in English. If it worked once, I imagine such an evil will return.
I'll come back to this thread if I see it or similar again.
