I saw Texas issuing licenses and marrying people. I also saw an article about Mississippi refusing to issue marriage licenses *to anyone*, which is the kind of stupid bigoted temper tantrum everyone expects from Mississippi-dwellers. But I have no wider confirmation of who's doing what, yet.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is throwing a fit of protest and the Governor has declared he'll prioritise religious freedom, whatever the heck that even means . It seems responses on the county level vary quite a bit.
