Headline of the day: Christ, Not Even Jurassic World's Dinosaur Toys Are Allowed to Be Female
But yeah: Despite all the dinosaurs in Jurassic World being explicitly female, all the dino *toys* are explicitly male.

Date: 2015-06-27 02:09 am (UTC)Although, the idea isn't as far out as you might think. (http://news.discovery.com/animals/dinosaurs-gender-males-females-110602.htm)
Also, neither birds nor reptiles have externalized genitalia, so it seems that dinosaurs are unlikely to have had them. I guess they could have had them internally, though, as some birds and reptiles do. Soft-tissue fossils are extremely rare, but maybe someday a dino penis will show up?
If a particular species of bird (think duck, if you dare) or reptile (snakes have two) does have a penis, you can obviously get a look at it under the, er, right conditions. With reptiles, at least, you may be able to evert the organ yourself (without hurting the animal).
Maybe if Hasbro had designed the toys so that you could do that...no, maybe not such a good idea. (Think anyone's checked for that?)
