I continue to tag things as I find them, so I can find them again in January 2016.

Rick And Morty definitely deserves an award. Let's go with Rick And Morty Season 2 as a whole for Long Form, and S2E05 "Get Schwifty" for short form.

(It's like Doctor Who if The Doctor was a sociopathic alcoholic, except competently written and funny.)

It might make sense for your tag to indicate which year's Hugo the thing you like is eligible for.

Not an issue for me so far - and this is the first year I've started using livejournal to mark "Hey, I read/watched The Thing, I should remember The Thing come January", but I'll certainly consider it.

Gunnerkrigg Court should get a damn nomination.

I have never liked Gunnerkrigg Court. Same thing as Girl Genius, it's just not my thing.

But that's okay.

I figured at the end of the year I'll collect all my "note to self, remember this" things in a single post of all the things I think are worth nominating.

I'm not nominating any individual episodes for awards until this season is over and there aren't any better ones (which I fully expect there to be!)

I'm not nominating any individual episodes until January *anyway*. It's possible the next few episodes may reverse my opinion, but I'm sticking a "note to self" down while I remember.

So far I think S2E4 with the parasites and being both an enjoyable bottle episode AND a fake clips show episode has been the best. But I ain't no Hugo voter though...

$50 to vote.

(I am seriously thinking of going next year - even though right now the price is $170 and I am accustomed to getting into conventions for free).

So you're saying it's like Doctor Who in the seventies with Tom Baker?

Kidding. I love that show. Get Shwifty was not my favorite from this season but it's still better than 80% of all shows out there.

I preferred the one where Rick met his collective conscious ex-lover - complete with Patton Oswalt as a sad Borg collective.
