A brief PSA

Today is the last day to get Windows 10 for free.
If you don't want Windows 10, those annoying "hey you can upgrade now!" popups will finally vanish. If you do want Windows 10 (and I prefer it to 7 and consider it a complete no-brainer to upgrade from 8) you have another 15 hours or so.

#2: Get used to whacking Start (or Windows Key) and just typing what you're looking for. It's even faster than the same feature in 7 and WAY faster than clicking.
#3: You can access the old-style control panel by hitting Start -> type "Control Panel". This is WAY more useful than the Win10-style control panel.
Other than that, just take a look around. the new Task Manager is way better, the new Notifications panel is better, some of the window handling (especially things like snap-to-side and the like) is way better - it's not a HUGE upgrade, but there's a bunch of small things that I just always find I miss when I'm using Win7.
