As the week ends the puppies are all doing well. Almost all have doubled their birth weights and the others are gaining steadily. Myrna is doing well, eating about 12,000 calories a day:

* a pound of cheese
* a pound of hamburger (sometimes over kibble, sometimes as cheeseburgers
* a quart of yoghurt
* a pound of chicken
* half a loaf of bread
* a quarter pound of peanut butter
* half a pound of cream cheese
* half a pound of kibble
* and gallons and gallons of water.

This is all required in order to support the litter's weight gain of about 3 pounds a day.
