Chick... felt he had to define "Protestant" but not "Evangelical" or "Pentacostal." He was willing to accept that the reader knew "Ecumenical," "Extreme Unction" and "Apostacy," but thought they might have trouble with "Intense," "Infiltrate" and "Stone."

Interesting that he says this: Chick defines words like he's desperately afraid the reader is about to suffer a stroke. Jack Chick did actually have a stroke, sometime in the 1980s I think. There's a notable break in art and writing styles in the tracts around that time.

(If you've never read Imp, issue 2, you should. It's all about the world of Chick and is fascinating stuff if, like me, you're interested in how weird people's beliefs can get.)
