Mother calls 911 to report that her daughters are fighting, and that she physically cannot stop the 12-year-old. 911 operator says "Okay. Do you want us to come over and shoot her?"

With a recording of the call, here

I feel much worse for the guy than the stupid woman. Her daughters fighting is not an emergency, and he was way more polite to her than she deserved. She said in the future she won't feel comfortable calling 911 - I hope not if it's for something as dumb as this.

I don't know about this. On the one hand, a mother calling 911 because she can't control her own kids sounds really dumb. On the other, I've known 12 year old kids who were much bigger than their mother, and if she was out of control enough to be kicking holes in doors, chances are the mother couldn't physically restrain her, so I can sympathize with her trying to get help.

What the guy said was remarkably stupid, though. It's not like the woman was being incredibly dense or argumentative with her. It was practically the first thing he said to her as soon as he was informed of the situation.
