Sometimes a sheriff's gotta do what a sheriff's gotta do -- even if it means arresting his own son on drug charges.

Again.

Robert Hopper, the sheriff in Fulton County in far Western Kentucky, arrested Robert Hopper Jr. Friday after allegedly finding him making methamphetamine. The younger Hopper, 31, was one of four charged with conspiracy to manufacture meth after Sheriff Hopper said he found an active meth lab on a farm.

It was Robert Jr.'s second arrest by his father on meth-related charges in a month. "I said before that he's my son and I love him, but I'll treat him like anybody else," the sheriff said. "The law is the law, and it applies to everyone."
