Matched the colour of the edge of the iris with a brush, and redid the outline in that? Managing to keep the highlights above the pupil really helps, I think.

yeah.. if they did the colour/value matching by hand that's insane... i was hoping they used some kind of "goo" filter for the shape or a merging tool that takes the values from one and fits it into the shape for the other...

I can't imagine they'd need to. Even MS Paint has--

What the fuck is Trillian and why is it on my machine?

Oh, right. Sorry.

--a little eyedropper tool that lets you click on colours and then paint with the selected colour, and its about as basic a piece of imaging software as you can get.

um.. Trillian is a free IM client that lets you log into AIM, ICQ, YahooIM, and MSN Messenger, without the ads...

yes, you can even do it in paint, but the amount of time it to take to do it is astounding...

*blinks* It just takes a click to--

--ah. Miscommunication. I was saying that colour matching should be easy and is probably never done by hand, since even the crudest programs seem to have an eyedropper option, not suggesting that they'd done the whole thing in MSPaint.

Trillian is what Marna installed when she was catsitting, remember? I guess she didn't uninstall it as completely as she thought she did.
