Altering the caption to "Marmaduke" (adjacent to Family Circus in my my (and most) markets) so that it is suggested that Marmaduke has devoured Jeffy. Always a hoot. Try it and see.

I used to do a similar thing, only it was giving Cathy a nose in each panel AND ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE READING A SINGLE WORD OF THE ENTIRE STRIP.
