Famicom? That's the original NES. Make that eighties. It's from 1983, while the Super Famicom is from 1989 (as a few seconds google says -- I knew the NES thing, but not the years).

oops.. i got that part wrong.. i don't knwo jack about the original NES, but i remembered Zelda for SNES, so i assumed it was for a super famicom system...

It was, it said "Super Famicom" at the end. Which is Super Nintendo, of course. So... very late 80's, early 90's.

Man, now you're just being grumpy.

1) That is FAR FAR less irritating than the American commercial for the first Legend of Zelda. (Kramer-esque moron screaming the names of the enemies and miming sword-play)

2) The commercial reminded me of Space Channel 5, and that is NEVER bad! (Ulala saving Zelda LOLZ)

That's pretty great. I don't know why Zelda games have such weird ads, since they're generally good enough to stand on their own merits.
