The Christian Exodus has begun, and the local news actually noticed.

This being Fox, look at what opinions they put first, and who that "This isn't a good idea" spokesperson is, and how she's quoted.

If you're looking for the lunatics who are actually doing this, check out their website. Notice that they've got a Bible Search function on the left side, with an option to choose what version you want to search - and the only possible selection is King James?

Sounds good to me.

Let them all move there, and regulate themselves, and then the rest of us can actually form a government for ourselves without their destructive influence.

word.

It also gives all the groupes they've been opressing a nice centralized place to target.

That's one of the worst-written articles I've ever seen on a pro news site. Just look at that usage error in the very first sentence!

Also: speaking as a member of a fringe religion myself, the prospect of hanging around with no one but my co-religionists for the rest of my life would fill me with horror.

Also: life imitates science fiction: this setup was pretty much the premise of Paul Park's 1996 short story "The Last Homosexual". In the June 1996 issue of Asimov's, the 14th annual Year's Best Science Fiction, or the collection If Lions Could Speak. It's a great story that I highly recommend.

That's your mistake. It's not a pro news site, it's Fox.

> speaking as a member of a fringe religion myself, the prospect of hanging
> around with no one but my co-religionists for the rest of my life would fill
> me with horror.

And me as well. Sloppy! Sloppy thinking! Everywhere! GAAAAAAAAH!
