For some reason, seeing "D-N-A" written like that makes my teeth itch. I'd associate that more with the monastery than with biology, but maybe that's just wishful thinking towards M*rmons.
I've talked to Mormons who state the Book doesn't claim the Native Americans were descendants of Lehi's naughty sons, but if you read the (godawful) Book of Nephi, it's painfully obvious that this is exactly what it claims.
