"This is pretty user-proof. All they have to do is get their username and password right."

That poor, poor deluded bastard.

Speaking of which, "My computer is running real slow!"

It's kinda funny. The most interesting thing I did yesterday was crush a spyware infestation. Two instances of annoying-but-pretends-to-be-legit, a couple of genuinely-destructive-crap. The menus in the programs were hilarious - "are you SURE you don't not want to discontinue uninstalling this program?" "You'll be missing out on all these wonderful offers! Can't we convince you to keep them installed" - with the yes/no buttons jumping around to nonstandard positions.

Not my machine, so I laugh.

Then, of course, the last one said "To uninstall me, you need to go to this website and allow it to run ActiveX!", at which I also laughed.

"adware" makers need to have their legs broken. Repeatedly. Those who pay them to advertise need to die.

Why would one ever need that many search bars? Or a purple monkey?

And I notice that the popup blocker has been disabled, 'cause there needs to be MORE stuff on the screen!

You can't have that much shit there on accident. Someone went looking for spyware/adware/viruses just to see how many they could get running simultaneously on one machine before it melted down.

Still a vision of hell.
