Naw ... not all humans are easy prey. Smart, aware humans with big, pointy sticks could fuck up a lion's world; the lion may kill the human in the process, but the lion wouldn't survive long afterwards. Smart, aware humans with firearms are even more dangerous. I'd use a .50 caliber or elephant gun, just to make damn sure that my shots had the stopping power they needed.
