This is the fearsome Bovine Impersonator Bear. Their prey of choice is early-morning bleary-eyed farmers, who haven't woken up enough to realise that there's an extra "Bessie" in the barn until they're with claw's reach.
This is why, in Canada, evolution has dictated that farmers be the kind of perpetually wired soul that is most often seen in other countries asking for another triple espresso or trying to score some crystal meth - and it's natural.
The good news is, if you can manage to capture one and restrain it (an arduous feat in itself), the milk is shockingly tasty.
