Eh, the way I read it he didn't need to be cured. He was always straight, "sexual immorality" with the gay prostitute just happened.

Well, that makes it much worse. Even if you read the Book as saying that homosexual action is alwys sinful, it is kinda understandable that you do it if you're gay, or even bi. To do it when you're completely heterosexual is a whole new level. To sin without temptation is like ... unimaginably evil. Not even Adam and Eve did that. The only character who comes to mind as doing that is Satan.

I don't think Haggard (or his friends) have really thought this one through. At all.
