Homeless man asks police if he can spend the night in jail. They refuse. He robs a store and surrenders himself. They say he can stay.

Woman on her deathbed confesses to murdering husband and stuffing his body in the freezer. Police check the freezer, and she's telling the truth. He's been there for 14 years.

A guilty conscience? A desire to not have her kids discover it when going through her stuff?

I can just see that. "Okay, we've got the old curtains, the antique dinner table, and who wants the freezer with OH MY FUCKING CHRIST IT'S DAD!"

I've always wanted to be cooked and served as hor d'ouvres at my own funeral.

And have the guests told this, afterward.

I suppose. Though a much more appetizing thought is my own preference: to be laminated and fitted with wires through my bones, so that I'm basically a big posable Gumby doll. With more hair.
