Buh?

(And no, it's supposed to be "I don't give a flying rat's ass"...)

What in hell's name is going on in this picture? Did that guy on the right just toss a cat grenade at the McMuffins?

A picture of a cat being hurt.

#1: I suspect it's fake. As in, that cat is digitally added to the picture.

#2: The cat is obviously awake and rotating to land feet-first, making it extremely unlikely that it will be hurt, even *if* it really is being tossed in that place at that time.

If it's fake, I'm wondering why the girl is looking right at where the cat is with a look on her face that says "Why did someone just toss a cat at me?"

Not that I have any problems with cats being hurt, knowhatimsayin?

He could have thrown something else that is at the same point of the trajectory -- however, the whole picture, altered or not, just begs me to say: "WHY?"

And they look Russian to me, somehow. Does that make it more sensible somehow?

That does always make me more likely to accept the bizarre.

She's looking slightly below the superimposed cat.

It's a photoshop. Not bad, and they've done a very nice job. But it's a photoshop.

I read that as "why is he kind of waving at me with his arm bent in an odd position?", since she seems to be looking at the guy on the far right rather than the cat.

While the cat probably IS confused and scared, I doubt it was hurt. it's already upright heading towards a landing.

With any luck the next thing that happened was: cat lands on floor and scrabbles madly away. Guy in jean jacket pummels the jerk that pitched a cat at the desk clerk.

It's a chop. The cat thrower looks slightly out of proportion to the rest of the picture.

*Thank* you. I knew something was bugging me, I just couldn't place it.
