If it's fake, I'm wondering why the girl is looking right at where the cat is with a look on her face that says "Why did someone just toss a cat at me?"

Not that I have any problems with cats being hurt, knowhatimsayin?

He could have thrown something else that is at the same point of the trajectory -- however, the whole picture, altered or not, just begs me to say: "WHY?"

And they look Russian to me, somehow. Does that make it more sensible somehow?

I read that as "why is he kind of waving at me with his arm bent in an odd position?", since she seems to be looking at the guy on the far right rather than the cat.
