[livejournal.com profile] torrain is known for her ability to listen to the same song over and over and over[1], and her persistence in doing things she thinks are cool.

She's gotten her hands on my copy of Guitar Hero II.

I've just heard Surrender 15 times in a row.

I've created a monster.

hey, I do that! Plus, I can only usually remember 10 words of any given song, so I get to make my own up!

fun!

*snicker* Nice.

I usually wait for S. to be out of the apartment before getting crazy with the music, and she returns the favor by not putting songs on repeat when I'm around.

She just seems a little weird.

We're all alright, though.

I am possessed of a labmate with the same trait. I know your pain.

But she'll get better at those songs, which means she won't repeat them much more in the game any more. She'll... um, repeat new ones.

Yeah, I've got nothing.

Oh, no. I haven't heard or seen a song in there yet that I like as much as "Surrender"; most of them seem to be either very loud and faintly discordant, or in a minor key.

Heh. Yes. Well. He asked if I wanted to play, so clearly I can't be causing him *that* much pain. :)

At least she isn't playing "Yes We Can". It's a bonus song. You'll love it.

So congrats on the big purchase, now I don't have to worry about lending mine out 8^).

Now we have to bring both of them in to work at once, and play multiplayer

PS: Thunderhorse. Awesome song. I gold-starred Skwisgar's part on my first try, on easy - and then it totally kicked my ass on all the other settings.

Man, I love Dethklok.

I skipped most of the bonus songs on the earlier difficulties, so I've only "experienced" Thunderhorse on Expert. And really it's only the first 17% of the song I've experienced several times :). It's one of four songs I can't beat yet.
