Nuclear-powered, 24 wheels, built with the design goal that, barring an accident[1], absolutely no material would NEED to be added or subtracted from the car for the first century of operation.

It runs on Thorium.

[1]: Or refilling your wiper fluid, I suspect. If it had wipers, which it looks like it doesn't.

Might want to adjust the image size there, chief. It barely fits on my widescreen monitor.

I'll say this, that car looks incredibly bad-ass.

Strange. I've never before, in my life, had the urge to masturbate over a car. This is a first.

The only thing that would make the car cooler is to have the goddamned Batman getting out of it.

Crying and whimpering because he's afraid of the big scary radioactivity? Yeah, that's about perfect.

Just what do you have against the Batman? Did he scare you when you a child or something?

That's all very cool of course, but how does it handle in the snow?

Batman annoys me because there's Adam West Batman and Frank Miller Batman, and they're both stupid. He, like Wolverine, *defines* "overrated uninteresting character who is still somehow fucking ubiquitous even when nobody is discussing comics".

I think it'd be absurdly easy to "high-centre" that sucker in any snowfall deeper than the plot of Twilight.

-- Steve thinks it looks pretty, but wouldn't be terribly driveable in these-here parts.

I'm ambivalent on Batman, but Adam West Batman was fun TV as a kid and the Nolan/Bale flicks are good popcorn movies.

The Dark Knight was the first Batman movie to not be irredeemably stupid. Batman Begins came close and then had the major thrust of the plot depend on BOILING WATER not being hot and on MICROWAVES not heating, y'know, MEAT.

But that's one single film. And the comics still alternate between fluffy-happy-Batman and grim-crazy-Batman and pretend they're a) the same character and b) interesting.

Comic Book Physics happen.

*shrug*
But yes, Miller wrote some steaming crap. Some of his early stuff was readable, before he got high on the smell of his own farts.

That car needs a red light that scrolls across the front of it's hood.

The "no input for one century" doesn't get me, but the idea of using a slowpoke reactor to charge the batteries in an electric car very much does. I hope they run with this and see where they end up.

The obvious downside to a car like this would be problems with long trips. The reactor doesn't have enough juice to sustain the car itself so you'd have to stop for a lengthy period of time whenever the batteries run out of charge.

Oh, right, Doctor Octopus and the magic new device.

See, that bothers me less, because it wasn't a "microwave device that boils all the water around it", and it was new magic physics that didn't involve A MICROWAVE EMITTER creating "boiling" water that didn't scald, didn't affect water that wasn't in pipes, and didn't affect people.

One has to wonder what kind of human origami is required to get in and out of it. Also how you get rain, snow, or salt off the windshield. And maybe more importantly where you get tires (The local bicycle shop?).
